Sangre Grande is a region and administrative unit in Trinidad in Trinidad and Tobago.

Geography

Sangre Grande is located in the northeast of Trinidad. To the west it borders on Tunapuna - Piarco, on the southwest by Couva - Tabaquite - Talparo and south to Rio Claro - Mayaro. To the north it is Caribbean Sea, east bounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Capital of the region is Sangre Grande.

Sangre Grande is the largest surface area of Trinidad and 70 inhabitants per square kilometer according to the Rio Claro - Mayaro on zweitdünnsten besiedelteste. The north of the region is dominated by the scenic Northern Range. Major cities and places in Sangre Grande are:
