Sankarea: Undying Love

Sankarea (Japaneseさんかれあ) is a romantic - comical manga by Mitsuru Hattori, which is about the love of a zombie.

Action

The student Chihiro Furuya visited the Shiyo - boy high school and is a big zombie fan who dreams of being a " cute zombie girl " to have as a friend. For some days he goes every night in an abandoned building and trying there with the help of a recipe on an old scroll to revive his run over recently cat Babu as a zombie. The manga is in Chinese in Taiwan under the title Jiangshi nǎ yǒu NAME Meng? (Chinese僵尸 哪有 那么 萌?, What is a zombie so moe? ') published in Tongli. In the U.S., the manga was as Sankarea: Undying Love licensed by Kodansha Comics USA, the first volume was published on 11 June 2013. In Germany the manga to appear from April 2014 Egmont Manga.

Anime

6 September 2011 it was announced in the blog of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine or in issue 10/2011 of 9 September that the manga should be implemented as an anime series.

The anime was animated and directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama by Studio Deen. The character design is by Kyūta Sakai. The 12 episodes were between April 6 and June 29, 2012 shortly after midnight (and thus on the previous TV day ) first aired on TBS in the Kantō region, and with four or fourteen days offset on MBS in the Kinki Region and CBC in the Greater Nagoya. The first 11 episodes correspond to the first two manga volumes, while the last episode is based on the first two chapters of volume 4. The consequences were brought out from June 29 to November 30, 2012 on six DVD or Blu- Ray, the last additionally contained a 13th unaired episode. A sequence 0 as a prologue and on 9 November 2012 on June 8, 2012, a 14 episode: Besides appeared as a supplement to the limited editions of manga volumes 6 and 7 are two DVDs.
