Sanmenxia

Sanmenxia (三门峡 市) is a prefecture -level city in central China's Henan Province.

The administrative area of Sanmenxia has an area of ​​10,475 km ² and approximately 2.23 million people ( according to census 2010). In Sanmenxia the Sanmenxia Dam, the first dam on the Yellow River is located. Sanmenxia has the peculiarity that one fifth of the population are Christians.
