Xuchang
Xuchang (许昌 市) is a prefecture-level city in Henan Province of the People's Republic of China. Xuchang has an area of 4977 km ² and approximately 4.46 million inhabitants ( end of 2003).
Administrative Divisions
At county level, Xuchang of a township, three counties and two independent cities is composed. These are:
- Municipality Weidu (魏 都 区), 67 km ², 380,000 inhabitants, center, seat of the city government;
- District Xuchang (许昌 县), 1002 km ², 800,000 inhabitants;
- Yanling county (鄢陵 县), 866 km ², 620,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Anling (安 陵镇);
- Xiangcheng county (襄城 县), 920 km ², 780,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Chengguan (城关 镇);
- Yuzhou City (禹 州市), 1472 km ², 1.19 million inhabitants;
- City changge (长葛 市), 650 km ², 690,000 inhabitants.
