Saragossa Opening

The Zaragoza - opening is an opening of the chess game and created after the first white train

It is among the Closed games and is classified in the ECO codes under the key A00 as " Irregular Opening".

It is named after the Spanish city of Zaragoza. 1922 tournament was the opening theme c2 - c3, organized first in Mannheim with three participants, Siegbert Tarrasch, Paul Leonhardt and Jacques Lousy. Tarrasch won the tournament.

Opening ideas
