Sarah Gadon

Sarah Gadon ( born April 4, 1987 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actress.

Life and career

Her parents along with her ​​older brother encouraged Sarah Gadon to try a career as an actress. She debuted in 1998 as a ten year old in an episode of the Canadian television series Nikita. There were other guest appearances on television series and in 2000 a larger role in the television comedy The second I, for which she was nominated in 2001 as a member of the actor ensemble for the Young Artist Award.

In the television drama Stormy Times (2001) played Gadon at the side of Elizabeth Perkins, in the comedy Cadet Kelly (2002), she appeared alongside Hilary Duff. In the comedy Fast Food High ( 2003), she took over beside Alison Pill one of the main roles. Since 2006 she played in the television series Ruby Gloom in the title role. She also played a minor role in the television series Life with Derek. Most recently, she played with Viggo Mortensen and Keira Knightley in the movie A Dangerous Method, in which it comes to Carl Gustav Jung. For her role as Helen Bell in the thriller Enemy 2014 she was honored as best supporting actress with a Canadian Screen Award.
