Happy Town (TV series)

Happy Town is an American mystery television series that was produced in 2010 by the ABC studios.

Action

Seven years ago, shook a series of unsolved kidnapping cases, the fictional small town Haplin in Minnesota. The series then ended by itself, since the inhabitants live in peace and quiet, until now. A new series of crime occurs and brings the dark secrets of the small town to light.

Production

Although the series is set in Minnesota, many scenes around Port Hope, Penetanguishene, and St. Catharines have been filmed in Ontario, Canada. After the pilot episode was filmed, Ben Schnetzer John Patrick Amedori replaced in the role of Andrew Haplin and Steven Weber replaced Dean Winters in the role of John Haplin.

On 11 May 2010 ABC announced that Happy Town will disappear for the next two weeks on the program schedule and will return on June 2, 2010. On 17 May 2010, ABC began the series officially off. On 18 June 2010 ABC announced that the final two episodes will run in the summer until later. July 1, 2010 released the last two episodes abc.com on their side.

The series starts as so-called midseason series on April 28, 2010. After the first three episodes were broadcast, Happy Town disappeared for two weeks from the program schedule and returned on 2 June 2010 back on. The last two episodes were unausgestrahlt, it was published only on 1 July 2010 on the series page at abc.com and on iTunes.

Internationally

In Portugal, the series began on 25 May 2010 to MOV, Poland on 1 August 2010 on Fox Life and in Italy on 6 September 2010 at Fox Italy.
