Peter Outerbridge

Peter Outerbridge (* June 30, 1966 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian actor.

Life and achievements

Peter Outerbridge was born in Toronto and grew up. He has two older sisters and two older brothers. His ancestors came from Sweden and from Bermuda. His paternal grandparents were in the 1920s when missionaries in China. When they returned to Canada, his grandfather was a priest in the Protestant United Church in northern Ontario. After high school Outerbridge moved to British Columbia to study at the University of Victoria spectacle. He then spent four years in the theater group Way Off Broadway and toured Canada.

In the thriller The Price of Beauty (1991 ) he played the male lead role opposite Jennifer Rubin, whose character was romantically interested in him. 1997 and 2002, Outerbridge was nominated for Canadian Genie Awards, namely for Best Actor for the films Kissed and Marine Life. In addition, he was nominated 8 times between 1996 and 2007 for his performances on television at the Gemini Awards. However, he celebrated his greatest international success so far as the main character (David Sandström ) in the Canadian sci-fi series ReGenesis.

Since May 2000, Peter Outerbridge is married to the Canadian actress Tammy Isbell and the couple have two sons.
