Sarah Marshall (British film actress)

Sarah Lynne Marshall ( born May 25, 1933, London, England; † January 18, 2014 in Los Angeles, California ) was a British actress.

Life and career

Marshall was the daughter of the actor Herbert Marshall and Edna Best in 1960 she was nominated for her role in George Axelrod's play Goodbye, Charlie for a Tony Award.

Since the mid- 1950s to the late 1980s, she appeared in numerous television series. Her greatest role was here as Evelyn Winslow in Winslow Miss and Son (1979). Other series in which they occurred, among others Robert Montgomery Presents (1951-1954), The United States Steel Hour (1955/1961), Alfred Hitchcock (1960-1963), Thriller (1961 ), Daniel Boone ( 1965-1968 ), FBI (1966/1968), Star Trek (1967) and Scruples (1980).

She also starred in several films such as King Richard II ( 1954), The Long Hot Summer (1958), Monsieur Cognac ( 1964 ) Nymphomania (1965 ), Mollymauk, the boy wonder (1966 ), Clueless (1972 ), The bunker (1981 ), Dave (1993 ), Bad Blood (2006) and Bad Blood ... the Hunger (2012 ).

Marshall was married from 1952 to 1957 with Mel Bourne and got together with him a son.
