Å aratice

Šaratice ( German Scharatitz, formerly Scharaditz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located about four kilometers northeast of Újezd ​​u Brna and belongs to Okres Vyškov.

Geography

Šaratice is located in the extreme northeast of the Thaya Schwarza valley floor on the left bank of the Litava ( Leitha ). West of the Stara rises hora (307 m) and in the northwest of Pracký Kopec ( Pratzeberg, 324 m). Located northwest of the village takes you past the railway line from Brno to Přerov, the nearest train station is Hostěrádky - Rešov. History

Archaeological finds evidence of a settlement of the area since prehistoric times.
