Savage Circus

Savage Circus is a company that Thomen upsetting power metal band.

Band History

Thomen Stauch, former drummer of Blind Guardian founded in 2004 Savage Circus, which continues the style of the album " Imaginations from the Other Side" and " Tales from the Twilight World " of the former band. The style can be described as power metal with speed metal influences.

As musicians themselves Thomen upsetting chose Emil Norberg and Jens Carlsson of Persuader and Piet Sielck of Iron Savior.

The first " appearance " of the band was an autograph session at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen and a pre-listening of four songs.

On 17 August 2007, the band announced to continue working in the future without Thomen upset because his health further collaboration was in the way. On 3 September of the year Mike Terrana was announced as the new drummer, who is already in many bands (including Rage, Axel Rudi Pell, Masterplan ) and worked. In addition, the former live bassist Yenz Leonhardt was accepted as a permanent member, playing together with Piet Sielck even with Iron Savior.

On December 21, 2011 Piet Sielck had announced that he stopped working with the band. The reason he claimed not accomplish the songwriting and production of a new album for a third time alone and instead focus on his band Iron Savior want to.
