Savaştepe is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Balıkesir. The city is located about 40 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Balıkesir.

The district is located in the south of the province. It is bordered to the northwest by Ivrindi, in the northeast to the central district and on the south by the province of Manisa. The county town is situated on the road from Balıkesir to Bergama, west of the mountain train Ömer Dagi ( Dagi also Mancınık ). To the west of the county, about five kilometers northwest of the city, is the reservoir Sarıbeyler Baraji.

In the southeast of the county located in the village Yazören the cave Yazören Mağarası.
