Savogna d'Isonzo

Savogna d' Isonzo (Slovenian: Sovodnje whether Soci ) is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1744 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Gorizia, in Friuli- Venezia Giulia. The community is located about 4.5 kilometers southwest of Gorizia on the Slovenian border. The northwestern boundary of the municipality is the Isonzo.
