Transmission tower on the mountain sheep
The Sheep Mountain ( 449 m ) is a mountain in Lobau in Saxony. It forms together with the adjacent mountain Löbauer a common rock formation.
Transmitter Schafsberg
On the mountain sheep, a new, 162 -meter-high transmission tower made of reinforced concrete for FM, TV and radio is since 1988 owned by the German radio tower, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
The Löbauer transmission tower was due to the forthcoming DVB- T launch on 11 June 2007 a modernized antenna system.

Since early April 2013, the regional DAB multiplex the MDR on DAB channel 9C is broadcast in simulcast.
DAB is broadcast in the vertical polarization with other transmitters.
