Sean O'Driscoll

Sean Michael O'Driscoll ( born July 1, 1957 in Wolverhampton ) is an England -born former Irish football player and current coach. Most recently, he coached the English third division side Bristol City.

Playing career

Sean O'Driscoll was playing from 1979 to 1984 for Fulham. After relegation to the Football League Third Division in the 1979/80 season, he returned in 1982 with his team in the second-class second division. In 1984, O'Driscoll for Harry Redknapp trained third division AFC Bournemouth and rose with his new club in 1987 in the second division. After relegation to the Third Division in the 1989/90 season, the club remained until O'Driscolls career end in this league.

In the summer of 1982, Sean O'Driscoll played three caps for the Irish national team. His debut celebrated on 21 May 1982 in a 0-1 defeat in a friendly match in Chile.

Coaching career

AFC Bournemouth

After the end of his playing career, he joined the coaching staff of his longtime association.
