Sebastian Fuchsberger
Sebastian Fuchs Berger (born in 1971 in Salzburg) is an Austrian trombonist and singer (tenor ).
Hailing from the family of musicians coupler Fuchsberger he studied from 1988 to 1996 at the Mozarteum and at the Vienna Academy of Music in trombone Friedrich Unterberger, Horst Küblböck, Rudolf Josel and attended courses with Branimir Slokar.
As a trombonist, singer, arranger and composer, he was a member from 1992 to 2005 the group Mnozil Brass and from 2002 to 2008, the group Global Kryner. He was a founding member of both groups.
Between 1994 and 2004, he graduated from concerts and recordings with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Volksoper, the sound Wien, Camerata Academia Salzburg, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, the Taschenoper Vienna, the Janus Ensemble, Mund.art, the Burgtheater and bands such as the Vienna Art Orchestra, Max Nagel and Alegre Correa Group. 1996/97 he was engaged in Stage Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera as a trombonist.
From 1997 to 2002 he studied voice. He looked at the Arnold Schoenberg choir and the choir of the Vienna State Opera and appeared as a soloist at the Burgtheater on the Innviertler Symphony Orchestra as well as with bands such as Mnozil Brass, Global Kryner, Pro Brass, Alegre Corrêa, Gansch & Roses and because Blechhauf'n. 2007/ 08 he worked with Erika Stucky's project "Suicidal Yodels ".
From 2008, he appeared only as a singer. First roles were Caramello ( A Night in Venice, J. Strauss), Don Polidoro (La finta semplice, Mozart) and Don Ottavio ( Don Giovanni, Mozart). In concert, he sang in Haydn's Creation and the seasons, in Franz Schmidt's The Book with Seven Seals and fairs, mainly by Mozart and Haydn. In addition, he was in Roland Neuwirth " Schrammelmusik operetta " And with us! to hear. Since September 2010, Sebastian Fuchsberger is hired as a tenor at the Musical Comedy, the Operetta House of the Leipzig Opera. Since the season 2013/14 he is a permanent member of the Leipzig Opera and sings there among other Tamino in " The Magic Flute", Prince Reinhold in " The Sleeping Beauty", Abdallo in "Nabucco", Gastone in " La Traviata" and Edmondo in " Manon Lescaut ".
In the spring of 2013 he debuted as Lemminkäinen the Chemnitz Opera, in the summer the debut followed as Symon at the Mörbisch Lake Festival.
