Sébastien Charpentier (ice hockey)

Sébastien Charpentier ( born April 18, 1977 in Drummondville, Quebec ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender, who was most recently at the Bietigheim Steelers under contract.

Career

Charpentier began his career in 1995 at the Laval Titan Collège Français and completed 18 games. In the NHL Entry Draft 1995, the French-Canadian was selected by the Washington Capitals in the fourth round as number 93. First, however, he played from 1995 to 1996 in the Val- d'Or Foreurs and then a year in Shawinigan Cataractes to.

After the goalkeeper had played in the season 1997/98 at the Hampton Roads Admirals in the East Coast Hockey League and had led the team to winning the Kelly Cup, he came 1997 on the Portland Pirates, the farm team of the Washington Capitals in the American Hockey League.
