Serkan Özsoy

Serkan Özsoy ( born August 3, 1978 in Istanbul) is a Turkish football player in the service of Kahramanmarasspor.

Career

Association

Özsoy began with the club football in the youth of Paşabahçe Istanbul and in 1997 equipped with a professional contract in the youth of Fenerbahce. In 1998 he was transferred to the senior squad and played the first two seasons on a regular basis. From the summer of 2000 he lost his position within the team and eked out the next two seasons rather a reservist existence. So he left Fenerbahce for the summer of 2002 and went to Trabzonspor. Here he only played one season and went on to Malatyaspor. For this club, it was the next two seasons running.

The season 2005/ 06 he spent for each half season for Manisaspor and Gaziantepspor. For the summer of 2006 he moved to first division Diyarbakirspor. Here we dismounted in the TFF 1 Lig end of the season. Özsoy stayed with the club and played two more seasons for this club. The following year he played at various second-and third-tier.

Özsoy moved to the summer of 2011 to the second division TKI Tavşanlı Linyitspor. After one and a half seasons, he left Linyitspor towards third division Kahramanmarasspor. With this club he was at end of season 2012/13 Master of TFF Lig 2, reaching the direct promotion to the TFF 1 Lig

National

Özsoy first played for the Turkish youth national teams, during a U-18 match against the Italian U- 18th Overall, he played four times the U-18 national team of his country.

In addition, he graduated in the years 1999 and 2000, a total of eight caps for the Turkish U-21 national team.
