Shire of Roebourne

Roebourne is located on the northwest coast of the State about 1250 km north of the capital, Perth. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Karratha, where about 11,700 inhabitants.
To Roebourne Shire include the Dampier Archipelago (for Dampier Ward) and the Monte Bello Islands (for Roebourne / Pastoral Ward).
Management
The Roebourne Council has eleven members. The Councillor will of the inhabitants of the four Wards ( six from the Karratha Ward, two each from the Wickham / Point Samson / Cossack and from the Dampier and one from the Roebourne / Pastoral Ward) selected. From the circle of Councillor also the President of the Council and Shire President recruited.
