Background
After their initially recovering from cancer Kylie Minogue was precipitated in 2005 concerts - Repeat in Australia " Showgirl The Greatest Hits Tour". Under the title " Showgirl Homecoming Tour" the singer launched in November 2006 on a concert tour of her home country. Subsequently Minogue completed on New Year's Eve 2006, as well as six other dates in January 2007 performances in London. The tour was finished after six gigs in Manchester.
The concept of the show has been completely revised and rearranged many songs. In addition to the greatest hits of the singer and numerous reminiscences of other artists such as Madonna (Vogue ) or Yazz ( The Only Way Is Up ), was heard with White Diamond also a previously unreleased tracks. This song, was created as already Minogue's hit single I Believe in You from 2004, in collaboration with the Scissor Sisters.
Showgirl Homecoming Live was recorded in November 2006 at the second concert of the tour in Sydney. It contains a duet with U2 singer Bono, who sang the title Kids as a guest star with Minogue.
