The Aeropuerto Internacional Silvio Pettirossi is the international airport in the Paraguayan capital Asunción. The airport is located on the boundary of the neighboring city of Luque.

Originally called the Aeropuerto Internacional de Asunción. To commemorate the opening of a new terminal building in 1959, the airport Aeropuerto Internacional Presidente Stroessner was renamed. After the fall of the dictator in 1989, the airport received its current name after the Paraguayan aviator Silvio Pettirossi.

In the southern part of the airport is the military base of the Paraguayan Air Force Fuerza Aérea Paraguaya. Part of the 1937 built airstrip Base Aérea de Ñu the Guasú is still preserved and is used by 1 ª Brigada Aérea. The transport squadron Brigada Aerotransportada uses the current start and runway of the airport.
