Simon James Gillett ( born November 6, 1985 in Oxford) is an English football player who is under contract with the English second division Nottingham Forest since 2012. He currently plays on loan at Bristol City.

Playing career

Southampton FC

Originally from the youth academy of FC Southampton Simon Gillett denied on October 1, 2005, his first league game for the Walsall FC in the third-rate Football League One. His first competitive game for Southampton, he completed on 28 January 2006 in the fourth round of the FA Cup 2005 /06 ( 1-0 at Leicester City).
