Sing for the Moment (English for " Sing for the Moment" ) is a song by the American rapper Eminem. The song is the fourth single from his fourth studio album, The Eminem Show, and was released on 31 March 2003. In addition, the song is Eminem's best-of album Curtain Call: The Hits included.
Content
The first verse revolves around domestic violence and broken families. A child is being beaten by his stepfather, lets his emotions run wild and strike back. It then takes refuge in the music. The second verse refers to the contradictions in the life of a celebrity and plays on and on Eminem's trial for illegal weapons possession. Eminem produced the beat of Sing for the Moment in collaboration with Jeff Bass, who served as co- producer. Here is a sample of the song Dream On the rock band Aerosmith was used.
