Straight from the Lab (English for " direct from the laboratory " ) is an unofficial EP of American rapper Eminem. It originally appeared on 7 November 2003 as a bootleg, was in Europe but across the major label Universal Music, including various bonus tracks sold.
Content
The first song Monkey See, Monkey Do represents an announcement is to all rappers who want to mess with Eminem. The Songs We Are Americans, I Love You More were later released on the bonus CD of the album Encore under the titles We as Americans and Love You More. In Can- I- Bitch Slick Rick's Children's Story song is sampled, it is a Disstrack against the rapper Canibus, Bully is a Disstrack against Ja Rule and Benzino. Come on in was later incorporated under the name 6 in the Morning on the album D12 World and Doe Rae Me is another Disstrack against Ja Rule, Murder Inc. and Benzino and also under the title Hailie 's Revenge known.
Cover design
The original album cover shows the interior of a laboratory. Eminem is seen in the lower left part of the picture, he is wearing headphones around his neck. In the upper part of the illustration are the lettering and Eminem Straight From The Lab EP. The alternate cover shows Eminem dressed in a white jacket and hat in front of a car on a road. Right and left of the image rows of houses and people are seen. Top left are the writings eminem and Straight from the Lab. Both covers are finished in black and white.
Guest Posts
Two title of the EP included guest contributions from other artists. So phenomenon occurs in Eminem's rap crew D12 on the songs Come on in and Doe Rae Me. In the latter song also works with the then standing at Shady Records, Rapper Obie Trice.
