The Sivas Nuri Demirağ airport, the airport also Sivas ( Turkish Sivas Nuri Demirağ Havaalanı ), is a Turkish airport near the city of Sivas. It is operated by the State DHMI.

The airport went into operation in 1957 and after numerous conversions and extensions continue in operation. While the focus was initially placed on the military aviation, the airport is now used for civilian purposes and, although declining, militarily. He has one terminal with a capacity of 620,000 passengers a year and a paved airstrip, but no instrument flight landing system (ILS ) has. The key advance has a size of 44 x 150 meters.

Its associated town of Sivas is located about 22 to 23 kilometers away. They can be reached by taxi, private car or airport. Front of the terminal there is a parking lot for 33 cars.

Today, the airport in civil aviation is used almost exclusively for domestic Turkish flights. Turkish Airlines flies to, for example, from both here in Istanbul and Izmir airports.
