Sixways Stadium

The Sixways Stadium is a stadium in the English town of Worcester. It is the home ground of Rugby Union club Worcester Warriors and can accommodate 9,726 spectators. The stadium was opened in 1975; it got its name due to the fact that it lies on the eastern edge at the intersection of six roads, including the M5 motorway.

In September 2006, the district administration of Wychavon approved an investment program worth 23 million pounds. Plans are to expand the stadium to 13,200 seats, the establishment of a health center with swimming pool, a park -and-ride and new training courses.
