The Skellefteå Kraft Arena is an ice hockey stadium in Skellefteå, Sweden. The stadium will host the home matches of Skellefteå AIK in the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien. The naming rights to the arena holds the energy company Skellefteå Kraft.

History

The Skellefteå Kraft Arena is primarily used for ice hockey and concerts. The Skellefteå AIK of the Elitserien bears since the opening in 1967 of its home games in the stadium. In the period from 2005 to 2007 extensive renovation and modernization measures in the arena were made.

In 2005, was a preliminary of Melodifestivalen, by European Commission for the Euro Vision Song Contest, held in the arena. Famous musicians who appeared in Skellefteå are, among others, Lena Philipsson, and Tomas Ledin Orup.
