Skuna River

Skuna River in Bruce

The Skuna River is a tributary of the Yalobusha River in the north and center of the U.S. state of Mississippi. The river is about 120 km long and belongs to the basin of the Mississippi.

The Skuna River rises about 6 km west of Pontotoc Pontotoc County and flows in a southwesterly direction in the Chickasaw and Calhoun Counties, where it flows past the town of Bruce. The largest part of the river is straightened and known as Skuna River Canal. The Skuna River flows 9.7 km east of the city of Grenada in the Grenada Lake pent Yalobusha River.
