History

Originally on the site of the present village was a Vorwerk called Damerow, which is still listed on the map of the Duchy of Pomerania Lubinschen from 1618, but was later abandoned.

In the 18th century, it was an inn on the post road that led from Stettin in the east to the west to Gdansk.

As part of the improvements that King Frederick the Great led the Prussian provinces, 1773 with royal grace funds a Vorwerk of the manor in Rogzow created at the inn, from which developed the present village. Around 1880, then the Vorwerk was separated from Rogzow and managed as a separate commodity. After several changes of ownership, it came in the 1920s to Eduard von Wendorff; his widow Paula von Wendorff was until 1945 the last German owner of Neugasthof. The estate consisted of 798 acres of land (as of 1939).

With the formation of agricultural estates in the 19th century Neugasthof belonged first to Gutsbezirk Rogzow. In 1899, a separate Gutsbezirk Neugasthof was formed and so also understood the economic separation of Rogzow politically. The Gutsbezirk covered an area of 810 hectares (as of 1925). With the dissolution of the estate districts in Prussia in 1928 Neugasthof came to the newly formed country Rogzow community that included not only Rogzow and Neugasthof also Leppin. Neugasthof belonged to 1945 as part of the rural community Rogzow for Kolberg- Körlin the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After the Second World War came Neugasthof how completely Pomerania to Poland. The place was given the Polish name Słowenkowo.
