Songming County

The circle Songming (嵩明 县) is a county in the center of the prefecture-level city of Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 1,442 km ² and has about 340,000 inhabitants ( 2004). Its main town is the large village Songyang (嵩阳 镇).
