Spešov

Spešov ( German Speschow, also Speschau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers north of Blansko and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Spešov is located in the western part of the Drahany country. The village is located on the right bank of the Svitava along the creek Spešovský creek. In the north, the Na Vápnech the Spálené hora rise (361 m) and Hora ( 383 m), northeast ( 529 m ) in the east of Podvrší (590 m ) south of the Kešůvka ( 387 m) and the U Krbu ( 544 m ), southwest of Jedle ( 561 m) and north-west the Bukovice (500 m). By Spešov runs without stopping the train track Česká Třebová - Brno, the nearest train station is Dolni Lhota.

Neighboring towns are Jestřebí in the north, and Rájec Karolín in the northeast, Ráječko in the east, Horni Lhota in the southeast, Dolni Lhota in the south, and Milonice Závist in the Southwest, Mala Lhota and Žernovník in the west and Cerna Hora in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the festivals Spešov took place in 1373 as the seat of Vladiken Ctibor of Spešov. He was succeeded in 1390 by his son Buzer Spešov. In the following year a mill was mentioned, since 1407 in Spešov a yard detectable. At the beginning of the 15th century the owners of Spešov changed frequently. 1415 acquired Vanek of Boskowitz the goods. Since 1550 Spešov belonged to the rule Cerna Hora. In 1806 the village school started operating, before the children were taught in Bořitov and Blansko. In the hills west of the village of ore was mined. Later, limestone and iron sand was mined at Spešov. Between 1846 and 1847 by the building of the railway line Česká Třebová - Brno, which crossed the village in the eastern part. A railway station was not set up in Spešov.

After the replacement of patrimonial Spešov was / Speschau 1850 into an independent municipality in the district team Boskovice. 1879 was the new school, which was expanded two years later for the dual-class lessons. 1903 was the construction of the road from Blansko about Dolni Lhota to Rájec. 1907, the cemetery was established. 1948, the community was associated with the Okres Blansko. Spešov was incorporated in 1980 after Blansko. In 1999, the school was closed in Spešov. After a referendum, the village broke up with the beginning of 2000 Blansko and formed its own community. Since April 17, 2009 Spešov leads a coat of arms and banners. Gepfarrt the village has always been and jeh to Blansko. Northwest of the village there is an outdoor pool.
