Sri Lanka participated with five athletes at the Paralympic Summer Games in 2008 in Beijing, China. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was Sandun Wasana Perera. The best result the team achieved the athlete Lal Pattiwila Arachchilage in the high jump in Class F44/46 with the 10th Place.
