Hong Kong participated in the Summer Paralympics 2008 in Beijing, China with 23 athletes. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete So Wa Wei. Successful athlete of the team was the wheelchair fencer Chan Yui Chong with two gold medals.
