Powerlifting at the 2008 Summer Paralympics
In the Summer Paralympics in Beijing in 2008 in a total of 60 competitions in the bench press (also: power lifting or weight pulling) awarded medals. The decisions were made between September 9 and September 16, 2008 in University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Beijing, where the Olympic competitions were held.

- 2.2.5 class to 56 kg
- 2.2.6 class up to 60 kg
- 2.2.7 class to 67.5 kg

In the first experiment raised Lucy Ejike Ogechukwu with 125 kg world record, she improved again at the second attempt with 130 kg. Only in the third attempt they failed to 137.5 kg, which she had even raised more than the world record holder of the 52 kg class.
