Goalball at the 2008 Summer Paralympics
In the Summer Paralympics in Beijing in 2008 medals were awarded in total 2 competitions in Goalball. The games took place between September 7 and September 14, 2008 at the Technical University in Beijing instead, both decisions on 14 September 2008.

Classes
On Goalball participate exclusively visually impaired athletes. Otherwise there are no other classifications.

It took a total of twelve men's teams and eight women's teams participate, each with six players in the squad at the Paralympic Goalball competitions. The lists are each in alphabetical order.

Originally, four starting places will be awarded during the World Championships and three during the World Games. But as host China was runner-up at the World Championship, the four places changed to the World Games.
