Equestrian at the 2008 Summer Paralympics
In the Summer Paralympics in Beijing in 2008 medals were awarded in 11 competitions in equestrian sport. The decisions were made between September 8 and September 11, 2008 at the Equestrian Centre Hong Kong, where the Olympic competitions were held.
Grade
It is divided into four grades at the Disabled Equestrian sport:
- I, for riders whose limbs are only limited functionality, or that have a limited ability to balance. In this class also riders who are good arm functions, but lack of body balance may start.
- II, for riders with disabilities movement, but with some good arm functions.
- III, for blind riders with limited mobility.
- IV, for riders with visual impairments or limitations in one or two limbs.
Results
It took a total of 70 athletes at the Paralympic equestrian competitions, exclusively dressage competitions, in part. Men and women started mixed in a competition.

Of the 12 teams were two teams (Italy and Sweden), one of only three riders, the remaining ten teams of four, one of which represented the void result. In the two passages were the three best percentages were added together and this results in the end again together.
