Canada at the 2008 Summer Paralympics

Canada participated with 155 athletes at the Paralympic Summer Games in 2008 in Beijing, China. So they made one of the biggest teams in the tournament. Flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the swimmer Donovan Tildesley. Successful Participant of the team was the athlete Chantal Petitclerc with five gold medals. With 19 gold medals Canada is in the nations ranking the 7th place, with a total of 50 medals won the 10th Place.
