SS Cosmos
The SS Cosmos ( complete: Società Sportiva Cosmos ) is a football club based in Serravalle, San Marino. Cosmos is currently playing in the league group B of the Sammarinese football championship.
History
The SS Cosmos was founded in 1979 and the club colors of green and yellow. The name of the association is due to the North American club New York Cosmos.
In the 2000 /01 season Cosmos won for the first time Sammarinese Championship and qualified for the qualification for the UEFA Cup 2001/ 02. There, however, they lost to the Austrian club SK Rapid Wien 0:1 and 0:2. Cosmos also won four times the cup competition, as well as three times the Supercup.
