Stadthalle Villach

EC SV Villach (since 1969)

The Stadthalle Villach is a multi-purpose hall, built in 1969 in Villach owned by the City.

The hall is used for ice skating, inline skating, roller hockey, summer curling, as well as for concerts, trade shows and exhibitions. At concerts, as well as at the hockey games of the EC SV Villach, will offer around 4,500 spectators. The average attendance was 2009/10 at the home games of the EC VSV 3,748 spectators.

Organized tournaments

Here the boxing match was held at the European Championship welterweight, between Joseph Pachler and Jørgen Hansen on 18 August 1978.

It also hosted the 1982 World Cup Hockey B and B Hockey World Championships in 1992 together with the city hall in Klagenfurt.

In 2009, she hosted the 17th WAKO Kickboxing World Cup, in which around 600 athletes from 60 nations participated.
