Stamatis Katsimis

Stamatis Katsimis (Greek Σταμάτης Κατσίμης, born 30 May 1982) is a former Greek racers.

Career

Katsimis began his motorsport career in 2001 in Formula racing and won the B class of the Italian Formula 3 Championship. He also finished third in the Greek Formula 3 2002, he was seventh in the Greek Formula 3 Championship and entered additionally in the Italian Formula Renault, in which he had no points at.

2008 Katsimis returned to international motor sport and first started in the first four races of the Italian Formula 3 Championship. At the end of the season, he finished with a fifth place as best result 14th overall. He also made ​​his debut in Superleague Formula for the betreutet of GU -Racing International team of Olympiakos Piraeus. He solved Kasper Andersen from for the last two race weekends of the season. His best result was a ninth place.
