Stars Dance is the debut album by American pop singer Selena Gomez. It was released on July 19, 2013 in Germany and on July 23, 2013 in America. Background and development
In March 2012, Selena Gomez & the Scene announced an album for winter / spring 2013. In November 2012 it was announced that in March 2013 the album should appear. The first single was scheduled for January 2013. But in March 2013 Gomez announced that she and the band The Scene will take a break and that she is sure to bring out a solo album in the summer of 2013.
