The Stockton Arena is a multi-purpose hall in the town of Stockton of the U.S. state of California. The building is owned by the city at a cost of 63 million U.S. dollars.

History

Inaugurated in late 2005 Arena, depending on the event 8600-12000 places. It has, inter alia, 24 luxury suites, a club area with 344 club seats, a video cube with four screens and an electronic ticket system. It was designed by the architectural firm 360 Architecture. At the Stockton Arena is adjacent the Lexington Plaza Waterfront Hotel and a few meters away is the banner Iceland Ballpark; the home of the Stockton Ports baseball team ( minor league baseball). They are part of the Waterfront Entertainment Complex.

Currently, the Stockton Thunder Hockey team from the ECHL and the California Cougars of the Indoor Soccer League PASL -Pro is located in the Stockton Arena. From 2005 to 2009, the arena football team of the Stockton Lightning wore their games out in the hall. In the first sporting event on December 10, 2005 Stockton Thunder beat the team of the Phoenix RoadRunners 4-0. 2008, the arena hosted the ECHL All-Star Game and 2009 won the California Cougars the PASL -Pro championship in its own hall.

In addition to games the home team found, inter alia, Concerts, ice shows like Disney on Ice, performances by comedians, Wrestling events, or mixed martial arts.
