The Sovereign Center is a multi-purpose hall in Reading, Berks County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Inaugurated in September 2001, Arena was built on the site of the Astor Theatre. The theater was closed in 1975, stood empty and was demolished for the new building in 1997. To the Sovereign Center Sovereign Performing Arts Center ( The Rajah Shrine Temple before) and the Reading Eagle Theater belongs with 2500-4500 seats.

The Sovereign Center is currently being developed by the Reading Royals Hockey team from the ECHL; the Reading Express of the Indoor Football League used ( IFL ) and the New York Majesty of the Legends Football League ( LFL ). The Premier Basketball League team the Reading Railers 2008 was located in the hall, entered the season 2008/ 09 but not more. In addition, it is the venue of, inter alia, Rodeos, the PBR Ice Speedway and other sporting events as well as religious events such as meetings of Jehovah's Witnesses, large banquets and celebrations.

Concerts and Shows

Concerts and shows are held at the Sovereign Performing Arts Center. In addition to concerts, performances by comedians, family shows such as Sesame Street Live and the Reading Symphony Orchestra uses the venue.
