Stratos Perperoglou

Efstratios Perperoglou (Greek Ευστράτιος Περπέρογλου, born August 7, 1984 in Drama, Greece ) is a Greek professional basketball player who plays at a height of 2.03 m on the position of small forward.

Efstratios Perperoglou began his career in the youth department of the Greek amateur club AO Kavala. After an outstanding season at Ivisko Rhodes Perperoglou made ​​the jump to the U18 national team of Greece, reaching with this 2002 European Championship bronze. That same summer, he moved to Ilisiakos where he signed his first professional contract. After two years and taking part in the U19 World Cup, again won bronze at the Perperoglou, he moved to the first Greek League club Panionios Athens tradition for 2004. In Panionios Perperoglou belonged to the root formation and took part in the ULEB Cup, among others. In 2007 he moved finally, for a transfer fee of 700,000 euros for top club Panathinaikos Athens, where he was able to win the Double in his first season.
