Suchodaniec

Sucho - Danietz, Polish Suchodaniec is a town in Upper Silesia in the community room village ( Izbicko ) in the powiat Strzelecki in the Opole Voivodeship.

History

1202, the village belonged to the castle Steinau. 1243 Duke Mesko II confirmed the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre possession of the Villa Coloni. 1302, the village was mentioned in documents as " Sughiganetz ".

As 1806/ 07 French troops besieged the fortress of Neisse and advancing after their case after Cosel, soldiers were quartered in the town. 1813 took a squadron of Cossacks quarters.

In the referendum on March 20, 1921 voted 84 voters to remain in Germany and 95 for Poland. Sucho - Danietz remained with the German Reich. On 30 Januar1934 the town was renamed in dry box. By 1945, the place was in the district of Great Strehlitz.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration, was renamed Suchodaniec and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999, SUCHO - Danietz to re-founded powiat Strzelecki.

On 6 March 2006 German was in the church parlor village, belongs to the SUCHO - Danietz, introduced as a second official language. On 20 May 2008, the City also received the official German place names SUCHO - Danietz. In December 2008, the bilingual town signs were erected.
