Suez Governorate

As- Suwais (Arabic محافظة السويس Muhāfaza as- Suwais, DMG Muḥāfaẓa as- Suwais, also Suez ) is a governorate in Egypt with 510 935 inhabitants and is located in the Suez Canal Zone.

It is bordered to the north by the province al - Isma ʿ iliyya, on the east by the province Schimal Sina and South Sinai, on the south by the Government al -Bahr al Red Sea and to the west by the provinces of al - Qahira and al - Giza. The administrative center is Sue.
