Sulzberg is a market in the Swabian district Oberallgaeu and is around ten kilometers south of Kempten ( Allgäu).

Geography
When looking into the south of the Allgäu Alps can be seen. Most clearly the mountains are: Gruenten, Big Aries Stone and Geißhorn to detect.
Expansion of the municipal area
The municipality consists of the districts Sulzberg, moss creek and Ottacker.
To Sulzberg include the places Eizisried, Digging, hinter'm book, Auf'm book, Moss Brook, Öschle, Ottacker, Ried b. Sulzberg, Ruchis, lake, stone Gaden, Untergassen and Schwarzenbach.
History
Sulzberg and moss creek were mentioned in documents in 1059 for the first time. It is in a charter of Emperor Henry IV of Sulzberg as " Sulceberch " and moss creek as " Mosebach " reports.
On 1 July 1972 saw the incorporation of the formerly independent municipality Ottacker ( county Sonthofen ). On the same day also saw the amalgamation of counties Sonthofen and Kempten today Oberallgäu.
The inclusion of the former municipality of moss Bach came on 1 May 1978. On this day there was also an exchange of territory with the municipality of Mittelberg, now Oy- Mittelberg.
