Sven Schaffrath

Sven Schaffrath ( born July 13, 1984 in Düren ) is a German football player and coach.

Career

Sven Schaffrath started playing football in the village located east of Duren Bins field near the village of SG Germania and then went 14 years with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. There he went through the youth teams and was very soon in the second team to use. In 2002, he played three years for the Leverkusen, a year in the regional, two years in the Oberliga Nordrhein. Although the Rhineland in 2005 returned to the Regionalliga, Schaffrath did not see enough opportunities for himself and he left the club.

In the next two years playing the defender for the Wuppertal SV Borussia. But he did not play a season, and especially by the second half of 2006/ 07 was disappointing, which is why he moved to Rot Weiss Ahlen in the Regionalliga Nord. There he became an integral part of the defensive line. At the end of Ahlen increased surprising as master on to the 2nd Bundesliga. There, however, he came only to three inserts, so he moved to FC Erzgebirge Aue in January 2009. There he could win a regular place at left-back to right away. After a season without a professional contract, Schaffrath signed for the season 2011/12 with VfB Luebeck in the Regionalliga Nord. After a year at the North German 2012 he returned back to NRW and joined the Reserve of Alemannia Aachen, which plays in the Middle Rhine league. In March 2013 Schaffrath first played for the first team of Alemannia and made ​​his debut in the 3rd league.

Sven Schaffrath was also youth national team and played on the U15 to U20 about 30 times for Germany in a year with players like Bastian Schweinsteiger, Michael Rensing, Piotr Trochowski and Mario Gómez.
