Swen König

Swen König ( born September 3, 1985) is a Swiss football goalkeeper.

Sports career

King came in 1993 in the youth department of FC Rupperswil. In 1998 he was hired by the Super League club FC Aarau. In the 2005/06 season he was sold to the Challenge League to FC Vaduz, in which he played 14 games. For the 2006/07 season he returned to the Canton of Aargau, for FC Wohlen back. After David Zibung he was the second goalkeeper for FC Luzern. In the 2009/10 season he had four operations. On 15 April 2010 the Grasshopper Club Zurich announced the commitment of the goalkeeper on 1 July 2010. For GC he wore the number 1 to 2011/12 season moved King to AC Bellinzona, on the 2013/14 season back to his roots, as he himself says, home club FC Aarau. He can play in the new season again Super League because of FC Aarau has recently managed the promotion in the highest league. King will be located there in the competition for the goalkeeper Joel Mall.

Achievements

With the Swiss U- 17 national team in 2002 he was European champion. He stood in the gate at the U-19 European Championship semi-finals in 2004. A year later, 2005, he was part of the squad at the U -20 World Cup in the Netherlands.
