Tainter Lake is a settlement on community- free area in Dunn County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. For statistical purposes, the place has been combined to form a census-designated place (CDP). In 2010, Tainter Lake had 2242 inhabitants.
Geography
Tainter Lake is located in the central northwestern Wisconsin around the Tainter Lake, a reservoir of the Red Cedar River. This part belongs to the basin of the Mississippi on the Chippewa River.

Tainter Lake is in the north of the Wisconsin State Highway 170 and west by the Wisconsin State Highway 25 limits. All other roads are minor roads, some unpaved roadways and within local roads.
